Easter Weekend In San Antonio Texas

Easter 2012 was this past weekend. There were church services from Thursday through Sunday all over the city.

Maundy Thursday services celebrated communion just as Jesus celebrated communion with his disciples before his arrest.

Good Friday services as well as the big Passion Play on the San Antonio Riverwalk commemorated Jesus' death on the cross for our sins.

Saturday was filled with Easter egg hunts and photos with the Easter bunny.

Sunday services began early all over San Antonio Texas with Easter Sunrise Services celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus, who conquered death and lives forever! Then there were Easter services throughout the day celebrating Jesus!

The weather was perfect the whole weekend, a little on the warm side but no rain.

About Lynn

Hi! This is Lynn. Everywhere I go, I hear people saying they are bored. Who has time for that? Me? I am always so busy that I never have time to be bored. If you are bored, get a job, get a hobby, get a pet, write a blog, create a website, and the list goes on and on. I find that most folks who complain about being bored sit around all day long with nothing to do and expect everyone else to provide for them, don't you? I have led a busy life, working as a great employee, being an active church member, daughter, sister, friend, wife, mother, pet owner, crafter, writer, and business owner. When I have free time, it is almost always filled up with things to do. With the little real free time I do get, I can think of something fun and enjoyable to do. This blog has a little of everything in it from our travels, family life, hobbies, and learning how to make money to survive while learning how to thrive. My husband and I have a business that started from David's love of gardening. We sell garden seeds online through David's Garden Seeds And Products on our own website and through two stores on Amazon, on eBay, UPillar, and Etsy . If you like to garden, please visit our websites for quality garden seeds and products.
